Bhubaneswar: The teaser of the much-anticipated Odia feature film The Millet Diary, produced under the banner of Infyson Entertainment, was officially released, creating considerable excitement among cinema lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike.

The teaser launch event was attended by several prominent personalities, including Pipili MLA Ashrit Pattnayak, noted Odia film producer Ajit Mishra,  Blossom School Chairperson Nadia Moghbelpour, Brajraj Movies Director Nitu Nayak, film producer J.R.M, director Rajendra Mahanta, screenplay and dialogue writers Dillip Bisoyi and Uttam Kumar, marketing and PR head Pranay Jethi, along with actors Siddhant Mahapatra, Kuna Tripathy, Shakti Baral, Abhishek, and actress Sivani Sangita, among others.
More than just a film, The Millet Diary is presented as a cinematic tribute to the pride of Kalinga and the historical and cultural significance of millet (mandia). The teaser, which is currently trending across social media platforms, has heightened anticipation ahead of the film’s theatrical release during the upcoming Raja festival on June 12.
A Glimpse into the Story
The film takes audiences back to a time when millet was not merely a crop, but a symbol of civilization, culture, and survival. Set against a rich historical backdrop, the narrative blends heritage with emotion, highlighting how millet shaped the social and cultural identity of ancient Odisha.

Star Cast and Technical Team
The film features a strong ensemble cast led by Siddhant Mahapatra, Abhishek Panda, Sivani Sangeeta, Raj Rajesh, and Sritam Das in pivotal roles. Supporting performances come from Kuna Tripathy, Shakti Baral, Sushant Dashmahapatra, Revansh Mahanti, Santu Nije, Kanchan, Rajashree, Deepak, Devika, and Shreya.
Behind the scenes, the film is powered by a skilled Odia creative team. The story and production are handled by J.R.M, with Rajendra Mahanta at the helm as director. Screenplay and dialogues are penned by Dillip Bisoyi and Uttam Kumar. Music is composed by Prem Anand, while cinematography is jointly handled by Biswajit Kuldi and Ishwar Barik.
Editing is overseen by Rajesh Das, with Biswajit Paital heading post-production. The film’s vocal performances feature Kuldeep Pattnaik, Biswajit, Diptirekha Padhi, Shashank Shekhar, Ashutosh, and Dev J.
