Swaraj Barik Gears Up for His 12th Film, Promises a Comedy Entertainer

Bhubaneswar: Odia actor Swaraj Barik, last seen in the romantic drama Khoka Bhai Tama Pai, is all set to begin work on his next project—his 12th film.

The upcoming movie, currently untitled, falls under the comedy genre and is expected to be a full-on entertainer. “More details will be revealed after Raja 2025,” said Swaraj.

Khoka Bhai Tama Pai, inspired by the music of legendary Odia singer Late Akshaya Mohanty, starred Swaraj alongside Lucky Manisha, Upasana Mohanty, and Saroj Parida in lead roles.

Apart from acting, Swaraj is also making a mark as a filmmaker. He recently won the Best Short Film award for his directorial Glitch at the National Short Film Festival organized by the SSEPD Department. The film, which addresses disability issues, is available on the Swaraj Barik Films YouTube channel.

He is also working in another movie Sesha Kishan an Indian odia-language Biography feature film directed by Sushant Mani.
