Singapore Hosts Dazzling 5 Star Film Awards; London Named as 2026 Destination

Bhubaneswar: The prestigious 5 Star Film Awards will make its next grand stop in London next year, as announced on May 10, 2025, during a glittering celebration hosted at Quantum Arena, One World International School, Singapore.

Organised by RR Events & Cine Production** in association with the Odia Society of Singapore, the event was spearheaded by Ramesh Barik, Managing Director of RR Events & Cine Production. Following the success of the previous edition in Dubai, this year’s Singapore gala was another resounding success, bringing together a dazzling array of stars, filmmakers, and performers from the heart of Odisha’s Ollywood industry.

The evening was marked by awards honouring outstanding contributions to Odia cinema. The red carpet shone with the presence of renowned Ollywood celebrities including Akash Das Nayak, Sritam Das, Maheswata Ray, Sabyasachi Mishra, Swaraj Barik, Archita Sahu, Bhoomika Dash, Elina Samantaray, Devasis Patra, Riya Dey, Poonam Mishra, and Lipsa Mishra, many of whom also delivered electrifying performances.

Adding to the glamour were mesmerizing musical acts by leading Odia singers like Antara Chakrabarty, Archana Padhi, and Satyajit Pradhan. The evening also showcased Odisha’s vibrant cultural tapestry through fashion shows art and craft exhibitions, and traditional performances such as Odissi dance and classical music by esteemed artists.

The 5 Star Film Awards continues to serve as a global platform not only to recognize cinematic excellence but also to celebrate and share Odisha’s rich cultural heritage with the world. With the announcement of London as the next destination, anticipation is already building for another unforgettable celebration in 2026.
