Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan on Record Breaking Spree

Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s latest action thriller Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, has come out a historic hit. The film notched another 100 crore plus day and registered gross 113.6 crore on it’s 2nd day. This takes it’s worldwide total collection to an amazing 219.6 crore gross!

On day 2, the film generated rupees 68 crores nett in Hindi whereas in the dubbed market, it earned 2.5 crore nett. The total India collection on Day 2 was 70.50 crore nett (82.94 crore gross). Pathaan has thus become the first Hindi film to cross the 70-crore nett collection mark on a single day. Interesting, it’s overseas collection was also pegged at over 30 crore gross.

The film added to it’s records on the second day when it beat its own record for the highest day ever which it set on it’s opening day where it grossed 55 crore in Hindi format amounting to a total of 57 crore nett on day 1 including the dubbed versions.

Further Pathaan becomes the 3rd Yash Raj Entry into 50 Crore club on Day 1 after Hrithik Roshan Starrer War, directed by Siddharth Anand and Amir Khan & Amitabh Bachchan led Thugs of Hindostan, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
