During an interview, Samantha expressed her pride in the significant progress made by the regional language film industries in recent years, with many Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films surpassing major Hindi movies in performance.

Samantha remarked that the progress made towards inclusivity in the fashion industry is truly remarkable. She recalled how in the past, actors from the South were often dismissed by designers with comments such as “Who are you? South actor? What south?”

However, she expressed satisfaction in the fact that this mentality has changed, and they have come a long way since then. With a smile, she noted that they have finally reached the point where they should have been all along.
