Producer Pranay Jethi’s Father Dharanidhar Jethi Passes Away at 81; Family, Community Mourn Loss

Bhubaneswar: Dharanidhar Jethi, father of noted film producer and media planner Pranay Jethi, passed away at the age of 81. Known for his calm, affectionate, and simple nature, the late Dharanidhar Jethi was a devout and respected member of his community.

Born in Pandua village near Rahama in Jagatsinghpur district, he dedicated much of his life to the development of his village, contributing to projects such as the establishment of a local temple. He also served for many years in the Forest Department, playing a key role in various development initiatives across Odisha.

At the time of his passing at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, his three sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and granddaughters were present. His last rites were performed with full family participation, leaving a deep sense of loss among relatives and the local community.
