Bhubaneswar: Actress Prakruti Mishra, who began her career as a child artist in the Odia mega-serial Tulasi, has achieved yet another milestone.
Born into a musical family, Prakruti has showcased her talent in singing, dancing, and acting. Her performance in the film Hello Arsi earned her a National Award. Now, she has become a center of attraction at the national level as a jury member.
She has been selected as a jury member for the Feature Film category in the National Film Awards that included Director Ashutosh Gowariker as chairman .This marks a moment of pride for Odisha, as she becomes the first Odia female actor to hold such a position. Film critics have described her selection as a matter of honor for the state.
Additionally, she will be honored as a jury member. The National Film Awards were announced on Friday, where three Odia films have been nominated for awards. Actress Prakruti Mishra has served as a jury member during this selection process. Among the 11 members of the central jury panel, she was one of them.
