Bhubaneswar: Cuttack-based distribution powerhouse Prakash Films has officially acquired the nationwide distribution rights for two of the most anticipated Odia releases of 2025: Bou Buttu Bhuta and Chhi Re Nani. This significant announcement marks a milestone collaboration in the regional film industry, combining the creative might of Sidharth Music, Babushaan Films, and the distribution expertise of Prakash Films.
Sidharth Music, which is backing both projects as producer, shared the news via an official statement “Two of the biggest blockbusters of 2025 are now in safe hands. Prakash Films is proud to be the official distribution partner for Bou Buttu Bhuta – releasing this Raja 2025, and Chhi Re Nani – arriving Rathajatra 2025.
Chhi Re Nani, directed by acclaimed filmmaker **Susant Mani**, marks his reunion with veteran producer Sitaram Agrawal after eight years. Co-produced by Namita Agrawal, the film promises a poignant story centered on love, loss, and legacy. It stars Sailendra Samantaray**, Sivani Sangita, and Dipanwit Das Mohapatra, and is notably the 45th film under the Sidharth Music banner. The film is set to release during **Rath Yatra 2025.
Meanwhile, Bou Buttu Bhuta brings together a compelling mix of horror and drama. Directed by Jagdish Mishra and produced by Tripti Satpathy, the film features powerhouse performers Babushaan Mohanty, Aparajita Mohanty and Archita Sahu. It also marks the first collaboration between Babushaan Films and Prakash Films for a national release. The film is scheduled for a festive Raja 2025 release.
