Phalguna Chaitra to be premiered in Australia

The highly anticipated Odia film Phalguna Chaitra is ready to course uncharted territory as it will become the first Odia film to be premiered in Australia.

The movie will be released May 13 in three Australian theatres Hoyts Docklands (Melbourne), Hoyts Blacktown(Sydney), and Event Cinemas (Brisbane).

The movie features Chowdhury Jayaprakash Das, Partha Sarathi Ray. Ananya Mishra, BM Baishali, Sukant Rath, Bhaswati Basu, Pranab Rath, and Chandan Biswal in the lead roles. Actor Babushan Mohanty is a co-producer of the movie directed by Peenakee Singh and Sisir Kumar Sahu.

The makers are in discussion with distributors in Panda. England, the USA, Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore to provide NROS with the opportunity to enjoy this Odia film, production house sources revealed.

The film will release in Odisha May 12. The Odia cine lovers have already enjoyed the teaser, trailer, and four songs from the movie, showing great optimism about the film.

Sulagna Mohanty has written the story while Pranab Prasanna Rath has penned the screenplay and dialogues.

The music is scored by Abhishek-Eshan-Kaushik, Jerry, and Dichen Nayak, with lyrics by JP Wordsmith, Sthita Patnaik, and Sumit.
