Phalguna Chaitra back in theatres

Bhubaneswar: After been screened in India and 12 different countries, the Odia film Phalguna Chaitra is returning back to the theatres and to be screened at Berhampur, Dhenkanal, Sunabeda and Koraput on July 14.

The film, which was much applauded and adored, was released in theaters on May 12 in numerous locations in Odisha, Bangalore, Karnataka, and 12 other countries, including England, America, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, etc. is scheduled to return to theatres.

The movie, however, was unable to be released in several areas of Odisha for various reasons. It was released for the first time in four locations of Odisha, Berhampur, Dhenkanal, Sunabeda, and Koraput.

The leading actors in the movie are Chandan Biswal, Partha Sarathi Rai, Ananya Mishra, BM Baibarshi, Sukant Rath, Bhaswati Basu, and Bhaswati Basu. It was directed by Pinaki Singh and Shishir Kumar Sahu, and was produced by Shakti Jagdev. Actor Babusan Mohanty co-produced it.

The story was written by Dr. Sulagna Mohanty while Pranab Prasanna Rath wrote the screenplay and dialogues. Abhishek-Ishan-Kaushik, Jerry, and Dichen Nayak composed the soundtrack while JP Wordsmith, Stitha Patnaik, and Sumit Panda penned the songs.

Filmgoers from Berhampur, Dhenkanal, Sunabeda, and Koraput have high expectations for the movie. The Odia film enthusiasts are now expected to favor Phalguna Chaitra, who brought a new sense of cool to the people of Odisha in the month of Baisakh.
