Pathaan Bangladesh box office collection Day 1

Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback vehicle Pathaan had a dream run at the global box office with minting a ton of money for the makers.

Now the movie has turned a money making machine in neighbouring Bangladesh.

The YRF actioner is one of the first Bollywood movies to have released in the country since 1971.

The Siddharth Anand directorial opened on May 12 in Bangladesh (last Friday), and has already earned an impressive 25 lakh Bangladeshi takas on opening day.

This now translates to Rs 19.13 lakh in Indian currency, reportedly.

Considering that the movie had opened in only 41 theatres, this is a remarkable achievement.
