Odisha Police Mulls Visiting Kolkata to Arrest Absconding Odia Singer Shourin Bhatt

A special team of Odisha Police has now made elaborate plans to arrest Ollywood singer Shourin Bhatt from Kolkata. The state police have planned to take a four-member special squad to capture Bhatt, accused of sexual exploitation.

As per the initial details, personnel from the Cuttack Mahila Police Station are likely to accompany the team. The development has come to the fore after the accused failed to dispose of it before Odisha Police.

Till now, the police have not been successful in arresting him from his Cuttack address, where he was said to be living in rented accommodation.

Worth mentioning that Bhatt was accused of sexual harassment and a case in this regard was also registered by a woman in the Cuttack Mahila Police Station. He was accused of exploiting a woman and also duping her of Rs 10 lakh.
