Bhubaneswar: Akshay Parija Productions, Odisha’s most reputed and wellknown Production House and current day biggest production house, SPP Production have signed a strategic partnership agreement in the field of making films, TV Shows including fiction and non-fiction besides expanding into new areas of operation.
With this arrangement they will have six shooting floors, one reality show floor and one multipurpose utility floor with hospital, jail, police station, court, temple, garden and many other facilities. It makes shooting extremely convenient with all facilities available at one place.
Akshay Parija, chairman of Akshay Parija Productions and co-founder and chairman of Odisha’ s premier OTT platform Kancchalannka opined that, instead of competing against each other, consolidating with each other gives lot of advantage for quality production.
“With our significant visibility and production capacity, our activity will not only be limited to Odisha but we will venture into Bengal and Hindi territory,” he said.
Khirod Pattnaik, Chairman of SPP Production, who will oversee the entire operations, expressed strong optimism of future growth with this alliance.
“We are already producing 3 mega serials, 3 reality shows and 3 to 4 films. We hope that with our enhanced infrastructure and State of Art facilities, we will get more work to execute by reputed channels in Odisha and outside Odisha,” said Sonali Bijaylaxmi Mohanta, Chief Operating Officer of Akshay Parija Production.
“Our mega shows are show toppers under Pan Odisha GECs which reflect our qualitative production and timely delivery. We will endeavour to further enhance the quality and delivery,” she said.
With more than forty-one films by both the Production Houses, we will expand our film making beyond Odisha to Bengal and Hindi besides continuing to make qualitative Odia films; said Khirod Pattnaik.
There will be many path breaking initiatives for enhancement of Odisha entertainment arena and we will reveal the same in coming days, he said.
