Odia movie ‘Vote’ to hit screens Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: New Odia movie Vote which is a story of election and voting will be released in cinema halls across the state on Friday.

A special premiere show of the movie will be held o at Cinepolis in Bhubaneswar at 5:45 pm on Friday.

The year 2024 is very important year for India and Odisha as this year the general l=Loksabha election and Odisha Assembly election will held simultaneously to elect the central and state government who will run the government for the next five years.

The trailer of the movie showcased the different facets of election, political
parties and voting.
The movie is directed by Debasis Mohapatra and Produced by Atish Kumar Rout and Supriya Rout. The Story is written by Ajay Mohapatra.
The movie stars Surya Mohanty, Chakradhar Jena, Hara Ratha, Usasi Mishra, Ranu Padhi, Pinki Priyadarshini, Priya, Hadu, Debi Barik, Banamali Pandia, Manoranjan Das, Satya Panigrahi, Ranja Rout.

This apart this movie will introduced new actors including Susanta, Sitanshu, Soumya, Shreya who will debut with this movie.

Talking to Odia Celebrity, actor Hara Rath who is also playing key role in the movie said the story is based on a popular play by Ajay Mohapatra. This was turned into movie by director Debasish Mohapatra. The movie is prominent for local cinema. This reel story talks about election season and how political parties manipulate voters. It showcases real life situations.

It is not a propaganda movie and do not promote any particular leader or party.
Rath said that the movie was prepared and ready for years but was not getting any producer, finally the Ritu Priya Productions decided to produce it and release it . The movie will release on Feb 23 in cinema halls,” he said.

The DOP of the movie is done by Prasantanu Mohapatra while Music is given by Bikash Das and lyrics wre writte by Mohit Chokroborty & Bapu Goswami.

The songs were sung by Singers..-Human Sagar, Diptirekha Padhy, Sibasis Mishra, Lipsa Mohapatra, Bishnu mohan Kabi, Satyajit Pradhan.

Media planner and Creative Head Pranay Jethi who is in charge of Promotion of the movie said the movie Vote will definitely be liked by audience as it’s story is true and genuine.
