Odia movie Mindgame gets a release date

Bhubaneswar: The much awaited Odia crime thriller Mindgame inspired by the incident of 2018’s sensational Patnagarh parcel bomb case in Bolangir district, will be released in cinema halls across the state October 6. The makers announced the release date at a press meet Tuesday.
On the occasion producer Sridhar Marrtha, actor Manoj Mishra, actress Anu Choudhry, media planner Pranay hethi and others were present.
Last year the censor board had cleared the movie ‘Mindgame’. It stars Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni, Sunita Krishnan and Ollywood actor Manoj Mishra in prominent roles.
The film—which was first titled ‘Patnagarh’ in 2018 was not getting released so far due to objection of people involved in the case, although the makers had claimed it to be a piece of fiction.
It has been directed by award-winning filmmaker, Rajesh Touchriver.
Media planer Pranay Jethi who will manage the promotion of the movie said the movie will be like by audience as it has good story and good performance of actors.
