Bhubaneswar: This festive season, Durga Puja pandals turned into vibrant stages for Odia cinema as two much-awaited films — Ladhei and Mantra Muugdha — marked their presence with star-studded promotions.

The team of Ladhei, starring Lohitakshya Pattnaik in the lead and directed by Ashok Pati, took their celebrations beyond Odisha, visiting popular Durga Puja pandals in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The cast and crew engaged with Odia diaspora and festive crowds, adding to the excitement ahead of the film’s grand Diwali release. They Also visited city pandals including Nayapalli Puja mandap.

Closer home, the team of Mantra Muugdha celebrated Dussehra in Bhubaneswar, visiting the iconic Nayapalli and Jharapada Puja pandals. Featuring a multi-starrer cast including Bhoomika Dash, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Manmay Dey, and others, the film is set to release soon. The star appearances drew large gatherings, with fans showering love and blessings on the upcoming projects.

With both teams leveraging the festive fervor, Dussehra 2025 has turned into a vibrant showcase of Odia cinema’s rising energy, bridging audiences at home and across India ahead of their theatrical releases.
