Odia film ‘T’ wins heart at Jaipur International Film Festival

After winning many festival recognition, Odia Film “T” wins heart at Jaipur international Film Festival 2022. The Only Odia Film got an official selection among 2000 films across globe and Show cased at Inox GT Central Jaipur.

The film Festival has been attended by Sonali Bendre,Priya darshan,Aparna Sen,Babil Khan and Many more..

A Proud Moment for the odia film industry again. Odia film “T” got Special mention award at Jaipur International Film Festival 2022.

Director Jitesh kumar and Actor Ranbeeir Kalsi has received the Certificate on behalf of entire team ‘T’.
Director Jitesh Said,Response from crowd was incredible. Many of the audiences were emotional and said we are proud of the filmmakers for their courage to produce such kind of movie for the first time in India on transgender. He said we are thankful all our Jaipur audiences who praised the Odia Film “T”.
All film fraternity and critics in Jaipur have appreciated film. A Packed Audience has seen our film and they were thrilled. For the first time an intense true story on transgender biopic has been made.

The film revolves around the struggles faced by Meghna Sahoo who became India’s first transgender taxi driver. The film also showcases her life’s journey, her marriage, and her struggles to help each & every one of the transgender community, helping them improve their livelihood.

We try to bring out Reality, Subjectivity and Society in our movies says Jitesh Kumar parida.. The masses should be able to associate themselves with the movie. It is imperative that they connect to cinema. Film is in Censor board for final certification process. Soon Odia Industry will see a new era of odia cinema with film “T”.

When we spoke to the lead actors Debasish(Dev) and Ranbeeir Kalsi, They said we are extremely happy that we are getting recognition in Jaipur as well, where Odia film has been appreciated. From nomination to winning is always be cherished. Thanks to our director Jitesh kumar for making such kind of stories and bringing them to the global audience. Manvir Singh Kalsi ,Co-producer of the film also attended the film festival.

Producer Jitendra Rai also congratulated to the entire cast and crews of the film for getting recognition at JIFF 2022. He said I always support films that have a social message and reality of the society which a common audience can relate. Our plan is to reach maximum people across globe through film festivals.
