Odia Film ‘Misiri’ released in cinema halls across the state

Bhubaneswar: The latest movie of director duo of Sisir Kumar Sahu and Peenakee Singh, Misiri released in cinema halls across the state Friday.

The makers of Dalcheeni and Phalguni Chaitra, hold a special premiere of the film at Utkal Galleria Friday.

Produced by Nirmal Jaiswal under the banners of Reels N Reels and AA Entertainment, the film is co-sponsored by Sthita Patnaik and Akkankshya Padhy.

The plot revolves around Sumit, who unexpectedly meets Misiri at a restaurant and falls in love at first sight. As their bond deepens, Sumit discovers Misiri’s exceptional artistic talent. However, when he confesses his feelings, Misiri rejects him outright. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Misiri’s old friend Aditya appears and proposes to her. To find out what happens next, audiences are encouraged to visit their nearest theaters, say the filmmakers.

“Misiri is not just a love story; it’s an emotional rollercoaster that explores passion, conflict, and artistry. We believe the audience will connect deeply with its narrative and performances” they added.

The ensemble cast of the movie includes Sthita, Vivash, Nirmal, Prasanjeet, Rupashree, and Abhishek, Eshan, and Kaushik, who have also composed the music.
