Odia Film ‘Maliput Melodies’ Selected for CIFF 2025, Nominated for JIFF 2026

Bhubaneswar: Odia cinema continues to shine on the national stage! The acclaimed feature film Maliput Melodies, which won hearts at IFFI 2025 in Goa, has been officially selected for the Indian Panorama at the Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) 2025, scheduled from December 11 to 18, 2025.

In addition, the film has been nominated for the 2026 Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF), highlighting its growing recognition across India’s film circuit.

Directed by Vishal Patnaik and produced by Kaushik Das, Maliput Melodies weaves together a series of poignant, soul-stirring stories that capture the slice-of-life essence of Odisha. The film celebrates culture, emotion, and regional authenticity, reflecting the richness of Odia cinema.
