Odia Film ‘Chakranta’ Wraps Post-Production, Ready to Thrill Audiences in January
Bhubaneswar: The wait is almost over for Odia film fans! The highly anticipated film Chakranta, produced by Saurabh Padhi under the Laksheshwar Productions banner, has completed its post-production and is all set for a January release. The film promises a perfect mix of drama, romance, comedy, and social messages, making it a complete entertainment package.
For the first time on screen, actor Mantu will be seen alongside Bhoomika Dash, bringing a fresh on-screen chemistry. The movie is directed by the seasoned Pinu Nayak, with the story penned by Disha Padhi and dialogues written by Jitendra Kumar Baral.
The film’s music is composed by Dr. Nirmal Nayak and Dr. Raghunath Sahu, with direction by Abhijit Majumdar, while cinematography is handled by Sudarshan Senapati. Dance sequences are choreographed by Kabir Prasad, and editing is done by Rajesh Das.
The ensemble cast also includes Harihar Mahapatra, Chaudhury Jayprakash Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Dharitri Khandual, Surabhi, Soumya Satapathy, Shubham Padhi, Suman Mahanty, Kusum Tripathy, Pramod Raut, Tushar, Umakant, Niranjan Nirua, Punyatoya Mishra, Krishnarani Dash, and a guest appearance by Ashrumochan Mahanty.
Chakranta tells a gripping story of youngsters who move far from home for education or jobs, but face temptations, bad company, and unexpected challenges. Innocent lives are tested, relationships are strained, and families are left worrying when children stray from the right path.
