Novelist Bibhuti Pattnaik feted with Parikshita Jena Banichitra Samman-2024

Bhubaneswar: Eminent Odia novelist Dr Bibhuti Pattnaik was felicitated with Parikshita Jena Banichitra Samman-2024 at the 56th edition of Banichitra Samman held at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

He was Felicitated for his outstanding lifetime contributions in the fields of literature, culture and cinema. Eminent actor and director Prashant Nanda gave the award to the novelist.

In the event several noted personalities like veteran Odia film actor, director and producer Prashant Nanda, noted poet and lyricist Rabi Narayan Senapati were present.

On the occassion several actors, actresses, producers, directors, technicians were felicitated in 35 categories.

Actor Sabyasachi Mishra and Actress Poonam Mishra were awarded as best actor and best actress for their films Pushkara and Cuttack Sesha Ru Aarambha respectively at the award ceremony.
