Nikita Mishra Aims for Power-Packed Women Action Roles Next
Queen of the Bohu Series Returns: Nikita Stuns in ‘Bohu 420’
She may look like the girl next door, but Nikita Mishra is already a seasoned star in the Odia entertainment world. The bubbly 26-year-old, who has grown up on camera and charmed audiences since childhood, has now completed a remarkable 20 years in the industry. Fresh from the World Television Premiere of her latest film ‘Bohu 420’ on Zee Sarthak, Nikita is riding high on audience love and impressive screen presence.

Nikita, whose latest film ‘Bohu 420’ had its World Television Premiere on Sunday on Zee Sarthak, began her career as a child artist in 2005.
‘Bohu 420’ tells the gripping story of Kasturi, a bride who repeatedly enters into fake marriages only to loot her in-laws before mysteriously disappearing. As similar cases continue to surface, Inspector Putibabu and Crime Branch officer Rekha Subudhi begin to believe that a single mastermind is behind the chain of crimes. The film unfolds with unexpected twists: Will Kasturi be caught? What pushed her into this path? What tragedy changed her life? The answers unravel dramatically in the climax.
Speaking to Odia Celebrity, Nikita said, “The movie is a social comedy where I play a small-town girl raised by her father. After a tragic incident leads to his death, she sets out to seek revenge. The story shows her emotional and thrilling journey.”
This is Nikita’s fourth film in the ‘Bohu’ series with Zee Sarthak after ‘Bohu Amara Matric Fail’, ‘Sunanaki Bohu’, and ‘Bohuku Lagichi Reels Bhuta’, all of which were successful. She has also played the lead in the popular Zee Sarthak TV serial ‘Jhilli’.
“Zee Sarthak has given me immense love and support throughout my career,” she added.
Nikita will next be seen in the dance reality show Dance Odisha Dance, performing as a celebrity guest alongside young talents Little Masters.
Over her two-decade journey, she has acted in several films and serials, including theatrical releases ‘Jogi’ and ‘Tuma Bina Bhala Lage Na’. Speaking about her upcoming work, she revealed that she has a new film lined up, which is scheduled to release during Raja next year.
Sharing her aspirations, Nikita said she wishes to work in a powerful women-centric action film like ‘Mardaani’. She also noted the positive transformation in the Odia film industry: “Earlier very few original films were made, but now many strong and meaningful stories are coming.”
