New Song “Malli Dhapa” from Sabyasachi Mishra’s Ananta Released on Amara Muzik

Bhubaneswar: The much-anticipated Odia film *Ananta*, starring Sabyasachi Mishra, has unveiled its latest song “Malli Dhapa**” on the Amara Muzik YouTube channel, released on Friday. This vibrant track pays tribute to Odisha’s rich folk traditions and is quickly capturing the attention of audiences across the state.

Sung by Sricharan Mohanty, Karunakar Sethi, Sanju Mohanty, and Antara Chakraborty, “Malli Dhapa” is a soulful celebration of Odisha’s cultural heritage. The music has been composed by Abhijit Majumdar, with lyrics penned by Dr. Nirmal Nayak. The track reflects the essence of traditional Odisha with a modern twist.

Sharing the song, the makers said, “Presenting ‘Malli Dhapa’ from the most awaited Odia film of 2025 – Ananta! This song is a heartfelt homage to our roots and traditions.”

Actor Sabyasachi Mishra, who plays the lead role, expressed his pride in the track, saying, “A pure Odisha song about the beautiful folk dance and music of the lost Orissa. Now it’s your responsibility to make it a SUPER HIT.”

The film Ananta is produced by Naveen Bhandari, Suraj Mohnot and Archita Sahu under the banners of Amara Studios and Shivaansh Productions, in association with Sabyasachi Films. Amara Muzik serves as the official music label of the movie.

Recently, the official teaser of Ananta was also released to much acclaim. The teaser introduces audiences to the powerful titular character Ananta, portrayed by Sabyasachi Mishra. Promising intense drama and cinematic brilliance, the film also features an ensemble cast including Suryamayee Mohapatra, Kuna Tripathy, and Jyotirmayee Panda.
