National Award-Winning Filmmaker Anupam Patnaik Celebrates Wedding Anniversary with Barsha Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: National Award-winning director Anupam Patnaik celebrated his wedding anniversary with his wife, actress and producer Barsha Patnaik, on Sunday. The couple marked the special occasion amid warm wishes and congratulatory messages from members of the Odia film fraternity.

Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik (also known as Barsha Nayak) were married on December 14, 2015, and have since emerged as one of the most respected creative partnerships in Odia cinema. Barsha Patnaik has made her mark both as an actor and a producer, most notably portraying the protagonist in the National Award-winning film Tulasi Apa, which was produced by Anupam Patnaik.

Anupam Patnaik, a celebrated director and producer, is best known for critically acclaimed films such as Pratikshya, which won the National Film Award for Best Odia Feature Film in 2023, further cementing his reputation as a leading voice in contemporary Odia cinema.

On the professional front, the couple is gearing up for their next venture, Mantra Muugdha, a horror-comedy film directed by Anupam Patnaik and co-produced by Anupam and Barsha Patnaik. Several Odia film personalities, including members of the cast of Mantra Muugdha, extended their congratulations to the couple on their anniversary, wishing them success both personally and professionally.
