Bhubaneswar : Odia film Shree Jagannathanka Nabakalebara based on the Nabakalebara of Lord Jagannath has created a sensation across Odisha and has made history. Even after 21 days of its release, it continues to be houseful everywhere. Devotees are crowding the theatres as if to get a direct glimpse of Lord Jagannath himself.
Theatres have become places of devotion, much like the temple chariot pulling of Lord Jagannath. Wherever you go, there are discussions about the Nabakalebara film. If you listen closely, you’ll hear the spiritual song echoing — “Sie Mo Jagannath, Ta’binu Shriheen Saara Jagat…” (He is my Jagannath, without Him the whole world is without grace). Those immersed in Jagannath’s love are chanting His name with devotion. Truly, the story of our revered deity Jagannath has emotionally touched everyone.
The promotion and publicity of the Nabakalebara film started from Lord Jagannath’s abode, Puri, with the audio release. Today, on the 21st day of the film’s release, producer and director Bini Samal, executive producer Pranay Jethi, actor Sritam Das, actress Pinky Pradhan, actor Anshuman, and actor Shambhu Khuntia visited the Lord’s temple in Puri to offer their thanks and seek blessings. The team also extended gratitude to the film’s mentor, Dr. Chandrabhanu Satapathy.
Seeing the overwhelming love from audiences in Nayagarh city for the Nabakalebara film, the team visited Nayagarh. Local MLA Shri Arun Kumar Sahoo, along with the full cast and crew, sat with the audience and watched the entire film together.
