Musical stars Badshah and Neeti Mohan set the stage on fire in Bhubaneswar

The evening kicked off with DJ Ali Merchant setting the stage on fire with his infectious mixes, setting the perfect mood. It was followed by Ikka’s reverberating vibe of hip-hop through the crowd. The evening soon took a melodious turn as Neeti arrived on stage and wielded her magic.

The highlight of the evening was the much-awaited performance by the king of rap, Badshah, who took the stage by storm with his chart-topping hits and electrifying stage presence. From Mercy to Daaku, he had the crowd singing along and dancing in unison, creat- ing an electric atmosphere that reverberated throughout the venue.

Neeti Mohan is an Indian singer. She sings mainly in Hindi and Tamil films, but has also sung songs in Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi and English. Born in Delhi, she was one of the winners of the Channel V’s reality show Popstars, subsequently being chosen for Aasma, with other winners of the show. She rose to prominence after recording “Ishq Wala Love” for Student of the Year (2012), ultimately winning the Filmfare R. D. Burman Award for New Music Talent and was nominated for the Best Female Playback Singer for “Jiya Re” from Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).

Neeti Mohan is the eldest of four sisters; Shakti Mohan, Mukti Mohan and Kriti Mohan.Mohan began learning music at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. During the time, she was involved in dramatics and dancing; considering singing as a “serious hobby”.

Badshah, is an Indian rapper-singer, songwriter, record producer and filmmaker. Badshah’s music style is diverse encompassing Indian pop, hip-hop, rap, synthwave, underground rap, pop rap and hardcore rap music. He has his songs in Hindi, English, Punjabi and Harayanvi languages. He is currently signed with Universal Music Group. He has contributed to several Bollywood movies including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Veere Di Wedding, Bala, Namaste England, Kapoor and Sons, Crew, Good Newz and Khoobsurat.
