Muhurat of Anupam Patnaik’s new movie ‘Karma’ held

Bhubaneswar: The Muhurat and Script Puja of director Anupam Patnaik’s new movie Karma starring Anubhav Mohanty held at Hanuman Mandir in CRP Square, Bhubaneswar Wednesday in the presence of cast and crew of the movie.

The Amiya Productions movie will be a big budgeted movie which makers plans to release on Durga Puja.

In the muhurat ceremony director Anupam Patnaik, producer Barsha Patnaik, writer Manas Padhiary, Cameraman Deepak Kumar, Musi Ashish Pradhan, Sound designer Shakti Swarup Dwivedi, Creative Head Pranay Jethi, actress Suryamayee Mohapatra, Divya Mohanty, Actor Nishanat Majithia, Manmay Dey, Chaudhruy Jayprakash Das and others were present.

The makers had already started the pre- production of the movie ‘Karma’. Director Anupam Patnaik had share images of the pre production work on the movie movie earlier.

The movie will star Ollywood superstar Anubhav Mohanty in lead role. This apart Actress Suryamayee Mohapatra, Divya Mohanty, Manmay Dey, Sanoj Kumar, Nishant Majithia, Chaudhury Jay Prakash Das are also announced as cast of the movie.

The Shooting will start very soon. It’s going to be a Multi starrer with Anubhav Mohanty in lead, Patnaik said.

The movie will be directed by Anupam Patnaik and produced by Anupam and Barsha Patnaik and written by Manash Padhiary. The music will be given by Ashish Pradhan and cinematography will be done by Deepak Kumar.

Amiya Patnaik Production is known for their movies including National Award Winning Film ‘Hakim Babu’ – Pua Mora Kalathakura – Mamata Mage Mula – Chaka Akhi Sabu Dekhuchi – Tulasi Apa and more.

Anupam Patnaik followed his father legacy and had made critically acclaimed movies such as Pratikshya and Trikanya and is ready for his new movie Karma. Fans hope that this movie will also create same magic as Pratikshya and Trikanya did

Anupam Patnaik last directorial movie Trikanya did very well. Trikanya comprised three unique narratives, each portraying a different facet of women’s lives. These stories explore themes of companionship, motherhood, and the complexities of marital relationships. Each tale unfolds with its own secrets and revelations, offering a glimpse into the emotional journeys of the women at their core. Anubhav was last seen in Ajay Padhi directed Kuhudi.
