‘Monster – The Ultimate’ First Look Unveiled; Aaditya Mohapatra-Starrer Set to Roar into Cinemas This October

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia action film Monster – The Ultimate on Thursday unveiled the film’s official first look, offering audiences a glimpse of what promises to be one of the biggest action entertainers in Odia cinema this year.

Sharing the first-look poster on social media, the makers wrote: “Every legend has an origin. Every warrior has a reason. Every MONSTER has a story. Presenting the Official First Look of MONSTER – THE ULTIMATE, an action-packed cinematic spectacle that promises power, emotion, mystery, and larger-than-life entertainment. Get ready to witness a new force rise on the big screen this October 2026.”

The film stars Aaditya Mohapatra in the lead alongside Dibyajyoti Tripathy. The ensemble cast also includes veteran actress Mahasweta Ray, Krishna Kar, Swapna Priyadarshini, Rajj Rajesh, Choudhury Jayprakash Das, Mithi and Aakash Rout.

Directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo, the film is produced by Debraj Bidhar under the banner of Gopinath Motion Pictures, with Anima Mohapatra serving as co-producer. Aaditya Mohapatra has also penned the story and screenplay, while dialogues have been written by Amit Kumar Dash and Pranab Prasanna. The music has been composed by Baidyanath Dash and Ashish Pradhan.
Monster – The Ultimate marks a significant shift in Aaditya’s career. After making his acting debut with the romantic drama I Love You 2, the young actor will be seen in a rugged, action-packed avatar.

The film has been creating buzz since its title was unveiled during Ganesh Puja last year. Earlier this month, the makers completed the shooting schedule after nearly six months of filming and confirmed an October 2026 theatrical release.

Shot extensively in Bhubaneswar, the film is expected to feature stylised, high-octane action sequences. The makers have earlier claimed that the production is among the first in the Odia film industry to use a robotic arm film camera to enhance the visual scale and cinematic experience.

With its first look now out and an October release on the horizon, Monster – The Ultimate is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Odia releases of 2026.
