Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra Promote Film ‘Assi’ in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actors Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra visited Bhubaneswar as part of the promotional campaign for their upcoming film Assi, engaging with students and social media influencers across the city.

The promotional activities began at the Modern Institute of Technology and Management (MITM), where the actors interacted with students and discussed cinema, storytelling, and the relevance of socially driven films in today’s times. The session focused on how meaningful cinema can spark dialogue and reflect societal realities.

Chairperson of the MITM Group of Institutions, Himadri Tanaya Lenka, formally welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of such interactions in inspiring young minds.

Later in the day, a special screening of Assi was organised at Maharaja Hall. Addressing the audience, the actors spoke in detail about the film, their respective characters, and the powerful narrative the movie brings to the forefront.

Sharing his thoughts, Manoj Pahwa said, “Assi is not just a film; it is a mirror to our society. It raises important questions and encourages us to confront the truth.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Kumud Mishra described the film as “bold, relevant, and deeply emotional.”

The film Assi features Taapsee Pannu in the lead role and is expected to resonate strongly with audiences for its socially relevant theme and compelling storytelling.
