Maddy’s crush on Juhi Chawla

Mumbai: Actor R Madhavan, who recently received the National award for his film Rocketry, revealed that he once expressed his desire to marry actress Juhi Chawla to his mother after he watched Juhi in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988).

This revelation came after Juhi Chawla provided insights into her decision to join the cast of the Netflix original web series, The Railway Men. Madhavan humorously confessed, “Luckily, you said yes. I must admit in front of everyone, after watching Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), I told my mom, ‘I want to marry Juhi Chawla.’ That was my sole aspiration at the time.”

Madhavan went on to explain that, despite his wish, he didn’t have the opportunity to work with Juhi in the new series, as she was cast after he had already completed his portions.
