‘Kuhudi’ director Ajay Padhi met his idol Imtiaz Ali, calls him a real rockstar

Bhubaneswar: Kuhudi movie director Ajay Padhi Tuesday shared image of his idol director Imtiaz Ali whom he met in Mumbai.

Sharing the photos Padhi said” When you meet your ideal guide, time seems to stand still. We talked about many things, but I couldn’t bring myself to share my journey of the last 10 years. This meeting feels more than coincidental. Thank you, sir, for being with me. Imtiaz Ali best known for directing work Jab We Met (2007), Love Aaj Kal (2009), Rockstar (2011), Highway (2014), Tamasha (2015) and Amar Singh Chamkila (2024).

Ajay Padhi directed movie Kuhudi which released on July 14 on the occasion of Raja is running successfully in cinema hall.

Ajay Padhi directed and Anubhav Mohanty starrer courtroom drama Kuhudi released in cinema hall across the state on June 14.

Produced by Himadri Tanaya Das under the banner of Camera Queen Production, the movie is based on child custody issue. In the movie Anubhav Mohanty is playing the role of a lawyer fighting for justice. The movie was released at more than 60 cinema hall across the state.

Dipanwit Das Mohapatra, Prakruti Mishra, Supriya Nayak, Kuna Tripathy and Sukumar Tudu play other key roles in the film.
