Bhubaneswar, June 5: A special screening of the upcoming Hindi film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata was held at PVR, Utkal Galleria, Bhubaneswar, on Friday, attracting prominent political leaders, film personalities, and cinema enthusiasts.
The event was attended by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and actor-turned-Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, who plays the lead role in the film. Their presence added significance to the occasion, making it one of the most talked-about entertainment events in the city.

Directed by Manoj Tapadia, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is a gripping thriller inspired by true events during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The film highlights the extraordinary courage displayed by doctors, nurses, ward staff, security personnel, and hospital workers at Mumbai’s Cama Hospital, who helped save hundreds of lives amid the chaos and violence.
Kangana Ranaut essays the role of a nurse, portraying resilience, compassion, and bravery during one of the darkest chapters in the nation’s history. The film seeks to honour the unsung heroes whose selfless service often goes unnoticed.
CM Majhi Praises Kangana’s Journey
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi lauded Kangana Ranaut’s remarkable journey in Indian cinema, describing her rise as an inspiration for aspiring actors and young artists across the country.
Kangana, dressed in an elegant traditional Odia Kotpad saree, expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome she received in Odisha. Calling it an honour to attend the screening alongside the Chief Minister, she said the film is dedicated to ordinary individuals who perform extraordinary acts of service for the nation without seeking recognition.
Produced by Pen Studios and Manikarnika Films, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata also stars Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amruta Namdev and several other accomplished actors in key roles. The film is slated for a nationwide theatrical release on June 12, 2026.
