Kajal Aggarwal roped in to play female lead in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NBK 108

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently shooting for his upcoming film NBK 108. The film was announced in August 2022. While there was quite a discussion on the female lead, it is now confirmed that Kajal Aggarwal will play the leading lady in NBK 108.

The director Anil Ravipudi announced the same with a video. He also confirmed that its music would be composed by S Thaman.

Anil tweeted, “Eternally Grateful & Super Thrilled to show our NATA SIMHAM #NandamuriBalakrishna garu in a never before role. Happy to be joining hands with the Musical Sensation, dear brother @MusicThaman& @ShineScreens for this Exciting Endeavour #NBK108 @sahugarapati7@harish_peddi (sic).”

Anil Ravipudi emerged as a star filmmaker when he directed Mahesh Babu in Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), which did well at the box office despite facing competition from Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Going by his brand of storytelling, one can expect NBK 108 to be a commercial entertainer. It is also likely to feature mass elements, the trademark of a Balakrishna movie.
