‘Jai Hind’: Upcoming Odia Film Pays Tribute to the Heroism of Odisha Police

Bhubaneswar: The bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of the Odisha Police take center stage in the upcoming Odia patriotic film ‘Jai Hind’, starring actor and MLA Akash Das Nayak in the lead role.

The film aims to honor the unsung heroes in uniform who serve the state with unwavering commitment. The film release date will be revealed soon.

Now being directed by Abishek Tripaty, Jai Hind was initially helmed by Malyagiri fame Prithvi Raj Patnaik. The project is being produced by Subhashree Mangaraj under the banner of Subhashree Films, which is making its debut with this film.

The recently released first look poster features Akash Das Nayak in a striking police officer avatar, promising a gripping portrayal of law enforcement in action.

A teaser clip, also shared by the makers, shows Nayak in police avatar giving audiences a peek into the emotional and visual layers of the story. The film also stars Actor Aankit Kumar and Ananya Mishra in supporting roles.
