I love being an actor than a star : Abhishek

Talented and versatile actor Abhishek Giri who impressed his audience and critics with his versatile roles in multiple movies such as Adieu Goddard, Bidyarana, Zwigato and others is ready with another role in new movie Sinduraa which released this Friday.

The Raseswari entertainment productions and Biranchi Narayan directed movie. Sinduraa is a story related to organic farming. The movie is an attempt to expose the dark secrets of pesticides and the fight to promote organic farming is the plot of the movie. Amidst this, the film also showcases a love story between Akash and Bhoomi, played by Abhishek Giri and Supriya Nayak respectively. Abhishek is playing a role of an YouTuber who dreams to get a golden play button.

Talking to Odia Celebrity, Abhishek Giri said that this movie is one of the good stories he heard. “As an actor I first focus on character and stories and this movie has both.

In the movie, Abhishek is acting opposite Supriya Nayak who according to him is a wonderful actress and he hoped that the audience will like their pairing.

Abhishek was a part of some good movies in recent time such as Ae Akasha Tale and Adieu Goddard. On this, Abhishek said making good movies is the only way to bring some positive change in the industry.

Abhishek started his carrer in 2013 with modeling. After becoming Mr Global India 2016, he started doing tv shows and while doing that he got the role in Adieu Goddard which according to him is one of the important movies of his career.

Abhishekh is one of the those actors who is not shy from dong negative roles. In his career he had done several negative roles in movies such as Bidyarana and others.

He said, “As an actor I never treat any role in small way if the character is important then we have no problem in its duration, beyond stardom, I love acting and being actor more than being star.”

Abhisekh also played the iconic character of Devdas recently in a play. On playing this character which was played earlier by stars such as Dillip Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan in silver screens, he said that at first it was scary to enact this character as it was done so many times but it was fun and exciting for me.

He recently worked with Nandita Das and Kapil Sharma in Hindi movie Zwigato. On his experience with Nandita, he said, “She gives importance to every actor including big and small which is a great thing. She is very down to earth person.”.

About future projects he said that there are lot of movies in discussion. “My main aim is to always do good stories,” he said.
