Bhubaneswar: Bringing a sensitive social issue to light, Odia filmmaker Tripati Kumar Sahu is all set to move audiences with his latest directorial venture “Pari” — a film that portrays the painful yet powerful story of an innocent child who becomes a victim of sexual violence.

In a time when crimes against children are rising, “Pari” aims to awaken society’s conscience. The story follows the tragic journey of a little girl — a tender flower whose life is destroyed by monstrous cruelty. Her helpless parents’ desperate search for justice against the forces of power, money, and politics forms the emotional core of the film. The burning question remains — will Pari ever get justice?

The film has been written and produced by Sanjay Mohanty, with Chandan Swain and Anil Baliarsingh joining as co-producers. The powerful dialogues are penned by Dr. Rajani Ranjan, while Japani Bhai has composed the soulful music.

The film’s soundtrack, with lyrics by Pramod Parida, features voices of Tariq Aziz, Antara Chakraborty, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Ruku Suna, and Dr. Rohan Biswal. Dhurabananda Panda (Litu) has handled the cinematography, and Chandrashekhar Mishra has taken care of the crisp editing.

Choreography by S.K. Muralidharan and Amit Nayak adds emotional rhythm to the film, while Pranay Jethi, Media Planner and Creative Head, has led the publicity and promotion campaign.

“Pari” features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Jyoti Ranjan Nayak, Anuradha Panigrahi, Sritam Das, Neelamani Sahu, Pradyumna Lenka, Soumya Adhikari, Guddu, Jagannath Sahu, Naresh Rautray, Niranjan Acharya, Papi Santuka, along with talented child actors Divyanshi and Sneha.

With its gripping narrative, emotional depth, and strong performances, “Pari” promises to be more than just a film — it’s a message, a mirror, and a movement that calls for justice and compassion in society.
