“Handia Bali” Turns Up the Heat: Dance Anthem from Odia Film Shikar Unveiled

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia action entertainer “Shikar” have dropped their much-awaited dance anthem “Handia Bali”, bringing a surge of energy and excitement ahead of the film’s release during Raja festivities.

Branded as a high-voltage track with a “new beat and rising temperature,” the song is already creating buzz among music lovers and fans of Ollywood.

At the heart of the track are the powerful vocals of Mantu Chhuria and Antara Chakraborty, whose dynamic rendition gives the song its infectious rhythm. The electrifying on-screen chemistry between Subhasis Sharma and Lipika Senapati adds visual appeal, making it a complete dance package.

Penned by noted lyricist Dr. Nirmal Nayak and composed by music director Baidyanath Dash, the track blends traditional beats with modern arrangements. The music has been arranged by Abhishek Panigrahi, while traditional percussion elements like dhol, nishan, and tasa—handled by Manish Da, Pramod Da, and Balaram—add a festive, rooted flavor to the composition.

The song’s recording was overseen by Sambit Kumar Mohanty at Somesh Studio, with mixing and mastering by Somesh Satpathy, ensuring a polished, high-energy soundscape. Alongside the lead dancers, the track also features glimpses of the film’s principal cast including Amlan Das, Elina Samantaray, and Supriya Nayak.

Directed by Mrityunjay Sahu and produced by Sachchikant Jena, Shikar is positioned as a gripping action thriller wrapped in mystery and family drama. The film revolves around a chilling family murder case, raising questions about the identity and motive of the killer, while exploring how multiple characters become entangled in the suspenseful narrative.

Backed by Moon TV Movies and Prakash Films, in association with Siddharth Music, the film boasts a strong technical team and a popular star cast. Shooting has already begun following its grand muhurat ceremony in Bhubaneswar.
