Bhubaneswar: The highly anticipated Gangs of Puri Season 2 is set to unveil its official trailer on April 15, the makers announced on Sunday. The announcement came with a dramatic teaser line: “Warning: Temperatures are set to hit 50°C on 15th April. The GOP-2 Trailer drops on 15th April.”

The upcoming season, which will stream on the Kanccha Lannka platform, promises a gripping continuation of the gritty underworld saga set in 1990s Puri. Building on the chaos of the first season, Season 2 explores escalating gang rivalries, shifting alliances, and the rising stakes in the coastal town’s criminal underbelly.

The series features new additions to the cast, including Dipanwit Das Mohapatra, Nishant Majithia, Soma Hota, Priyambada, and Manmay Dey, alongside returning actors from Season 1 such as KK, Aman, and Choudhary Jayprakash Das.

Directed by Anupam Patnaik and produced by Anupam and Barsha Patnaik, Gangs of Puri centers on the clash between a Bengali hotelier’s ambitions and the local mafia led by Babu Jena. At the heart of the conflict is Shiva, a reluctant hero who rises to power amid chaos and bloodshed.
