‘Ganda Bhairav’ Trailer Unveiled, Promises an Emotional Tale of Love, Revenge and Redemption

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia film Ganda Bhairav have released the film’s official trailer, offering audiences a glimpse into an emotionally charged story of love, sacrifice, pain, revenge and redemption ahead of its theatrical release during Rath Yatra.

Released by the production team, the trailer showcases a blend of intense action, emotional drama and spiritual elements. Actor Devasis Patra appears in a powerful action-packed avatar, while Sivani Sangita and KK are seen playing pivotal roles.

Sharing the trailer, the makers described the film as “a divine story of love, sacrifice, pain, revenge and redemption,” adding that the project is the result of years of hard work, belief and dedication by the entire team.
Ganda Bhairav is produced by Ramesh Barik under the banner of RR Events & Cine Production and directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo.

The story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by noted writer Sankar Tripathy, whose acclaimed Odia novel of the same name serves as the inspiration for the film.

The movie features an ensemble cast including Devasis Patra, Sivani Sangita, Ananya Mishra, Jayprakash Mohanty, Puspa Panda, Soma Bhoumik, KK, Santu Nije, Asit and others.

The shooting has already been completed, with the film now set to hit theatres during the Rath Yatra festive season.

Earlier, the makers had unveiled the first-look poster, stating that they had made an honest effort to faithfully adapt Sankar Tripathy’s celebrated novel for the big screen while retaining its authenticity and emotional depth.

The film also marks another collaboration between Devasis Patra and director Sudhanshu Mohan Sahu after their previous Odia film Katak. Devasis recently won the Best Actor award at the State Film Awards for his acclaimed performance in Shaheed Raghu Sardar, further raising expectations for his role in Ganda Bhairav.
