‘Ganda Bhairav’ Teaser Unveiled Ahead of Rath Yatra Release

Bhubaneswar: The makers of upcoming Odia film Ganda Bhairav have released the official teaser of the movie on the Babu Bhai Production YouTube channel, building anticipation ahead of its theatrical release during Rath Yatra.

The teaser presents actor Devasis Patra in a rugged, bodybuilder avatar, packed with intense action sequences and a powerful screen presence. It also offers glimpses of Sivani Sangita and KK, who play key roles in the film.

Directed by Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo and produced by Ramesh Barik under the banner of RR Events and Cine Production, Ganda Bhairav is based on the acclaimed Odia novel of the same name written by Sankar Tripathy.

The film features an ensemble cast including Devasis Patra, Sivani Sangita, Ananya Mishra, Jayprakash Mohanty, Puspa Panda, Soma Bhoumik, KK, Santu Nije, Asit and others. The shooting of the movie has already been completed.

The teaser release comes months after the makers unveiled the film’s first-look poster. At the time, the production team had said they were “thrilled” to bring the popular Odia novel to the big screen and had made an honest effort to ensure authenticity while adapting the story for cinema.

Ganda Bhairav also marks another collaboration between Devasis Patra and director Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo after their previous Odia film Katak.

Adding to the buzz surrounding the project, Devasis Patra recently won the Best Actor award at the State Film Awards for his performance in Shaheed Raghu Sardar. With a popular literary source, an action-packed narrative and a festive release window, the makers are hoping Ganda Bhairav will strike a chord with Odia moviegoers during Rath Yatra.
