First Song “Bhanga” from Odia Movie Challenge Drops on Amara Muzic

Bhubaneswar: The first song from the much-awaited Odia film Challenge was released on Sunday on Amara Muzic’s official YouTube channel. Titled “Bhanga”, the track features popular actor Ardhendu and actor-comedian Harihar Mohapatra. The song is sung by Arjun Anup, Gulua, and Pralu, with lyrics and music composed by singer Arjun himself.

The movie Challenge is slated to hit theatres across Odisha during the festive season of Dussehra, a time when Odia families traditionally enjoy watching movies together. To match the festive spirit, the film promises a perfect blend of action and family drama.

Recently, the teaser of Challenge received an overwhelming response, garnering massive views and shares within a short time. Audiences are particularly excited to see Ollywood star Ardhendu sharing screen space with Bollywood actor Puneet Issar for the first time. Issar, known for his iconic portrayal of Duryodhana in the television epic Mahabharat, plays a significant role in the movie. Actress Elina Samantaray stars opposite Ardhendu, while the popular music video duo Lipi and Pupinder Singh (famous for Jaiful) appear in a special role.

Earlier, the makers released a Rakhi-themed song from the film, celebrating the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, which struck an emotional chord with viewers.

Ardhendu Sahu, a prominent figure in the Odia film industry, not only stars in the film but also serves as its producer under the Adilaxmi Entertainment banner. Known for action-packed movies like Blackmail, Aa A Harsei, and Villain, Ardhendu continues his streak of delivering fresh concepts with Challenge, the sixth production under his banner.

The film is directed by young filmmaker Sai Kiran Mangaraj, with music composed by Gaurav Anand and cinematography by Pratap Raut. Dance sequences are choreographed by Amit Nayak, while Pranay Jethi handles promotion, publicity, and creative direction.

Challenge will be released across Odisha this Dussehra under the distribution banner of Prakash Films.
