Bhubaneswar: The much-anticipated Odia film Mantra Muugdha, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anupam Pattnaik, has successfully completed its first shooting schedule in Bhubaneswar. The makers shared the exciting update along with vibrant images from various locations across the city, announcing:

“We end the Bhubaneswar schedule on a high note! And boy, what a ride it was! Aama Mantra re pura Bhubaneswar Muugdha hei gala! Stay tuned… The magic begins!”

The team had earlier begun filming at Symphony Mall, Bhubaneswar, following a spiritual visit to Puri to seek blessings from Lord Jagannath. The next shooting schedule and location are expected to be revealed soon.

Originally teased under the symbolic title MM, Mantra Muugdha has stirred considerable buzz in the Odia film industry. Now officially revealed as a romantic comedy with a twist, the film is being produced by Barsha Pattnaik under the banner of Amiya Pattnaik Productions.

This marks the first collaboration between celebrated actress Bhoomika Dash and the production house. She stars alongside Surjyamayee Mohapatra, known for her powerful role in Karma, and her co-stars from that film — Sanoj Kumar and Manmay Dee — who reunite with director Anupam Pattnaik for this new venture. Adding fresh energy to the ensemble is rising talent Sarthak Bharadwaj, continuing Anupam’s tradition of spotlighting new faces.

The supporting cast includes Dipanwita Dasmahapatra (Pratiksha), Har Ratha, Chaudhary Jayaprakash Das, Nishant Majithia, Soma Hota, and Bhakti Das. Popular television actress Pihu Mohapatra and digital content creator Mr. Raut are also making appearances.

Behind the scenes, Mantra Muugdha boasts a strong technical team: Deepak Kumar as cinematographer, Rashmi Ranjan Das as editor, and Shakti Swaroop Dwivedi handling sound design, with Chandrasekhar Sharma in charge of sync sound. The story is co-written by Anupam Pattnaik and Roshan Bishoi, while the screenplay is by Rohit Gehlot and Anupam. Dialogues are penned by Pranab Rath, supported by Nishant Majithia.

In a groundbreaking move for Odia cinema, the film features five music directors — Ashish Pradhan, Anurag Pattnaik, Sangeet Pattnaik, Anurag Panda, and Raumy Raj Pradhan — promising a rich, layered musical experience.

Blending humor, romance, and a socially relevant message, Mantra Muugdha aims to entertain while sparking thoughtful conversation.

“We’ve always received immense love and Lord Jagannath’s blessings. From Pratiksha to Gangs of Puri Season 2, the audience has supported us at every step. I believe Mantra Muugdha will earn the same affection and leave audiences truly spellbound,” said director Anupam Pattnaik.

Stay tuned for more updates as the journey of Mantra Muugdha continues to unfold.
