First Look of Krishna Kar as Parshu Jena Unveiled in Ladhei

Bhubaneswar, Aug 16: The makers of the upcoming Odia action-drama Ladhei have unveiled the first look of actor Krishna Kar, popularly known as KK, in the role of Parshu Jena.

Sharing the poster, the team wrote: “Meet KK as Parshu Jena – the face of rage, the fight of survival. Ladhei – Fight Till Death releasing this Diwali.”

Presented by DRS Enterprises, the much-anticipated film is slated for a grand Diwali release and promises a high-octane cinematic experience. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ashok Pati and produced by Debashis Pattnaik, Ladhei is positioned as a complete festive entertainer.

The film marks the debut of Lohitakshya in the lead role opposite actress Abhilipsa, bringing fresh energy and new chemistry to the screen.

Ahead of the release, the audio of Ladhei was launched in a glittering ceremony at Hotel The Presidency, Bhubaneswar, under the Amara Music label. The event was attended by leading industry names including producers Sachikanta Jena, Tutu Nayak, distributor Prashant Behera, and entrepreneur Piyush Mohanty, alongside the cast and crew.

The soundtrack, composed by Gaurav Anand and Somesh Satpathy, features four tracks blending romance, dance, and item numbers, with lyrics penned by Nirmal Nayak, Bapu Goswami, and J.P. Wordsmith. Popular singers Swayam Prabhas Padhi, Ananya Sritam Nanda, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Kuldeep Pattnaik, Antara Chakraborty, Asima Panda, and the composers themselves have lent their voices. The dynamic title track, featuring a rap by Addiction, is already creating buzz online.

With a story written by Bharadwaj Panda, Ladhei aims to stand out with its original narrative, combining action, emotion, and drama. The supporting cast includes Pritiranjan, Smita Choudhury, Manoj Dandapat, Rajlaxmi Dakua, and KK in a pivotal role.

As Odia cinema gears up for the festive season, Ladhei is expected to add extra sparkle to Diwali celebrations with its powerful storyline and star-studded ensemble.
