Bhubaneswar — An exciting opportunity has emerged for young aspiring actors in Odisha as the upcoming feature film ‘Baghuni’ announces an open casting call for female talent aged 9 to 13 years.
Backed by some of India’s most celebrated filmmakers and production houses, Baghuni is set to be a powerful emotional drama grounded in authenticity and realism. The film will begin shooting in September and October 2025, with scenes filmed entirely in Odisha and London, UK.
The production is seeking fresh, expressive, and emotionally rich performers—no prior acting experience required. “We want real, relatable faces who can bring honesty to the screen,” said a production representative. “This is a chance for young girls passionate about performance to shine, even if they’ve never been in front of a camera.”
