End of an Era: Actor-Director Narayan Pati Passes Away

Bhubaneswar – Veteran actor and director Narayan Pati passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city on Wednesday. He had been admitted to the hospital on Tuesday evening.

An alumnus of the National School of Drama (NSD), Pati was celebrated for his versatility and depth in acting. His last film was Bou Ra Hatabaksha.

Beginning his career in 1971, Pati featured in numerous films across different languages. His performances in Shanta Tal, Court Chale Aab (1971), Lakhe Shiva Pen Pachhi Fus (1994), Gure Sindura Dhare Luha(2001), and Arjun (2005) received critical acclaim and cemented his place as a respected figure in both theatre and cinema.

People from various walks of life have expressed their condolences on Pati’s demise.
