Drone Show Launches Teaser of ‘Mantra Muugdha’ in Bhubaneswar Sky

Bhubaneswar: A new chapter was added to the Odia film industry as the teaser of the much-anticipated Odia movie “Mantra Muugdha” was unveiled through a spectacular drone show in the skies above Buddha Jayanti Park on Saturday evening.

For the first time in the history of Ollywood, an advanced LED drone display was used to present the teaser in the sky, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle for the audience. The colourful event lasted for nearly 40 minutes, during which drones flew about 100 feet high to form a sequence of visual images that offered glimpses into the film’s mystical and mysterious world.

Such promotional spectacles are usually associated with big-budget Bollywood or Hollywood productions, but this innovative initiative by national award-winning filmmaker Anupam Patnaik has showcased the growing scale and ambition of the Odia film industry.

The film has been produced under the banner of Amiya Patnaik Productions, a reputed production house known for delivering acclaimed projects including the National Award-winning film Pratikshya, the blockbuster Karma, and the popular web series Gangs of Puri. Through Mantra Muugdha, the production house aims to push the boundaries of storytelling and cinematic style in Odia cinema.

Written and directed by Anupam Patnaik, the film is produced by Barsha Patnaik. The movie features a strong ensemble cast including Sanoj Kumar, Manmay Dey, Sarthak Bharadwaj, Deepanwita Dashmohapatra, and Bhumika Dash in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Hara Rath, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Nishant Majithia, Soma Hota, Pihu Mohapatra, and others.

With the grand teaser launch, the countdown for the film’s release has officially begun. Mantra Muugdha is scheduled to hit theatres on May 1, and the spectacular drone show has already heightened audience curiosity, raising expectations that the film will offer a memorable cinematic experience for Odia movie lovers.
