Sharing their reaction to the strong opening response, the lead actors said:
“3 DAYS. MASSIVE LOVE. PURE GRATITUDE. Thank you, dear audience, for making Chakranta such a talking point already! We are overwhelmed by your incredible response and support for our team. The film has also received praise from several Ollywood celebrities including Elina Samantaray, Swapna Priyadarsini, and Anchor Gungun, who appreciated the film’s storyline and especially the fresh on-screen pairing of Bhoomika and Subhasish, who have collaborated for the first time.

Headlined by Bhoomika Dash, Chakranta follows the journey of a young woman who leaves her home in pursuit of education and career opportunities, only to face temptations, negative influences, and unexpected challenges. The narrative explores how innocence is tested, relationships are strained, and how parents’ sacrifices often go unnoticed, delivering a powerful message about life choices and their consequences.

Directed by Pinu Nayak and produced by Saurabh Padhi, the film blends social realism with suspense and conspiracy, promising a gripping cinematic experience. The movie also marks Bhoomika Dash’s first on-screen pairing with Subhasish Sharma — a combination that has sparked curiosity among audiences.

The ensemble cast features Harihar Mahapatra, Chaudhury Jayprakash Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Dharitri Khandual, Surabhi, Soumya Satapathy, Shubham Padhi, Suman Mahanty, Kusum Tripathy, Pramod Raut, Tushar, Umakant, Niranjan Nirua, Punyatoya Mishra and Krishnarani Dash, with a special guest appearance by Ashrumochan Mahanty.

With its socially relevant theme and layered storytelling, Chakranta is expected to continue drawing strong audience footfall in theatres across Odisha in the coming days.
