Bhubaneswar: The makers of the upcoming Odia film Challenge have unveiled the first look of veteran actor Bobby Mishra, who will play the menacing character Daniel Diesuza.
Sharing the look on social media, the makers wrote “The game has a new villain … and he’s no stranger to the spotlight. Veteran star Bobby Mishra returns as Daniel Diesuza—the man you’ll love to hate in Challenge. Get ready, Odisha. The real fight begins now.”
Slated for a Dusshera 2025 release, Challenge promises high-octane drama, intense action, and powerful performances. Directed by Sai Kiran Mangaraj (SKM) and produced by Adikanda Sahu under the banner of Adilaxmi Entertainment, in association with Zee Sarthak, the film’s music will be released on Amara Muzik.
Earlier, the makers had shared the first glimpse of the film, which received an overwhelming response from fans. Describing the theme, they said:
“Just as a soldier risks their life to protect the country, a common man similarly risks everything to protect their family, facing numerous #challenges along the way.”
The film stars Ardhendu in an action-packed avatar, alongside Bollywood actor Puneet Issar (of Mahabharat fame) as a key antagonist. Elina Samantaray will be seen opposite Ardhendu as the female lead, while Lipi Mohapatra and Pupinder play pivotal roles.
With its gripping storyline and a stellar cast, Challenge is already creating a buzz among Odia cinema lovers.
