Bhoomika Dash Calls Her Mantra Muugdha Role ‘Special’

Bhubaneswar: Actress Bhoomika Dash, who is currently shooting for her upcoming Odia film Mantra Muugdha in Dharakote, Ganjam, shared stunning images from the sets, expressing her excitement.

“A story which will live forever in everyone’s hearts, a character so special that will stay with me, a team full of energy and creativity – it’s all a blessing in disguise,” Bhoomika wrote on social media.

The second shooting schedule of Mantra Muugdha kicked off on a high note after first schedule completed in Bhubaneswar. Earlier, the team marked a spiritual beginning on Rakhi Purnima with a Sunderkand Puja, seeking blessings for the film’s success.

Director Anupam Patnaik, sharing glimpses from the set, wrote:
“With hearts full of fire and frames bursting with life, the second schedule of Mantra Muugdha roars to life! The energy is electric, the team unstoppable – can’t wait for this vision to light up the silver screen.”

In a major development, Rajshri Productions—the legendary banner behind classics like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, and Saaransh—has joined the project as its theatrical distribution partner.

Earlier, Amiya Patnaik Productions and Tarang Music announced their collaboration, with Tarang acquiring all rights to the film. Billed as the biggest Odia entertainer of 2025, Mantra Muugdha promises a perfect blend of romance, comedy, and a socially relevant message.

The film features Bhoomika Dash, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Sanoj Kumar, and Manmay Dee, reuniting after their powerful ensemble in Karma, alongside newcomer Sarthak Bharadwaj. The supporting cast includes Dipanwita Dasmahapatra, Har Ratha, Chaudhary Jayaprakash Das, Nishant Majithia, Soma Hota, Bhakti Das, popular TV actress Pihu Mohapatra, and digital creator Mr. Raut.

Behind the camera, the team includes Deepak Kumar (cinematography), Rashmi Ranjan Das (editor), and Shakti Swaroop Dwivedi (sound design), with Chandrasekhar Sharma handling sync sound. The story is co-written by Anupam Patnaik and Roshan Bishoi, screenplay by Rohit Gehlot and Anupam, and dialogues by Pranab Rath.

Adding to the excitement, the soundtrack will feature five music directors—Ashish Pradhan, Anurag Pattnaik, Sangeet Pattnaik, Anurag Panda, and Raumy Raj Pradhan—creating a rich, multi-layered musical experience.
