Bara Badhu Released Across Odisha; Premieres at Maharaja Cinema Hall
Bhubaneswar: The Odia film Bara Badhu hit cinema halls across the state on Friday, marking its much-awaited theatrical release during the Valentine’s Day weekend. The film opened in more than 50 cinema halls across Odisha and also released in major cities outside the state, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune.
A special premiere show was organised at Maharaja Cinema Hall on Friday, drawing film enthusiasts and members of the cast and crew. The premiere added to the celebratory mood surrounding the film’s release.
Directed by Beeswaranjan, Bara Badhu explores themes of marriage, employment, and contemporary social expectations through an engaging narrative. Featuring an ensemble cast including Sivani Sangita, Sailendra Samantaray, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Hara Rath, Subhasis Sharma, and Jayshree Sarangi, the film blends romance, humour, and emotional drama with socially relevant undertones.
Produced under the banner of The Useful Garbage Creations in association with Country Boyz Studios and Sharpline Film Pvt. Ltd., the film is presented by Chandra Mani and released by Prakash Films.
